Poor People's Campaign

About the Pennsylvania Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival

The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is uniting people across Pennsylvania to challenge the evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, ecological devastation and the nation’s distorted morality of religious nationalism.

In Pennsylvania, the campaign is led by a Coordinating Committee made up of organizations led by the poor and dispossessed, including Put People First! PA, Movement of Immigrant Leaders in PA (MILPA), Coalition to Abolish Death by Incarceration (CADBI), ACT UP! Philadelphia, Better Path Coalition, Marcellus Outreach Butler, Pittsburghers for Public Transit, Global Women’s Strike/Every Mother Is A Working Mother, MarchOnHarrisburg, Thomas Merton Center, Just Harvest, and others.
