Join our next 4M meeting on Monday, January 17—Martin Luther King, Jr. Day—to learn about our "Resolution to End Poverty in Maryland"; the actions we have taken to reach elected officials; and a moral campaign to keep the resolution on the legislative agenda through April; as well as to give your ideas on how we can collectively make “End Poverty” a major rallying cry in our state.
After hearing the inspiring testimonies of our poverty-impacted friends at the December Field Hearing, we shall demand that the Maryland General Assembly fund all these life survival needs: healthcare for all, secure food and housing, a living wage, quality education, criminal & environmental justice, strong disability rights, and so much more.
