The purpose of this meeting is to engage more activists in our movement and our work, around issues of poverty, systemic racism, environmental devastation, militarism and the war economy, and changing the false moral narrative that blames the poor for poverty.
We will report on the recent statewide Policy Working Group training around attending legislative hearings and contacting and meeting with our legislators. We will also have a presentation about current legislation on Health Care and Medical Debt, and breakout discussions on ongoing areas of work.
