The Maryland Poor People's Campaign and Coalition Against Prejudice invite you to join us at the Westminster City Park from 12pm-2pm on Saturday, April 10th, 2021, to learn more about Projects of Survival.
- Trained volunteers will be present with all necessary forms present to help individuals apply for SNAP and/or Medical Assistance.
- A limited supply of free hygiene and foot care packs will be present for distribution to any houseless or housing insecure community members in need.
- Narcan distribution and training will be present.
- Free snacks and water!
- Voter Registration!
At the conclusion of our outreach event at City Park, we ask that you join Coalition Against Prejudice members in a community clean-up and outreach in and around the Bishop’s Garth Neighborhood. We will be meeting at the intersection of Center Street and Green Street at 2:15pm. Participants are encouraged to bring their own trash bags and gloves, but we will have limited supply on hand for those in need.
