Poor People's Campaign
April 19 @ 6:30 pm EDT

We Cried Power tells the story of a bold new social movement to end poverty in the United States, inspired by Martin Luther King, Jr.’s 1968 Poor People’s Campaign. On MLK day weekend, you can watch a sneak preview of this intimate account of a "season of resistance," told through the eyes of the workers, mothers, veterans, preachers, and students who are the voices and founding members of this new “fusion” movement.

Join us for the sneak preview on Sunday, Jan. 19 at The Riverside Church in Room 20T (room may change)! Food will be served.

RSVP here: https://actionnetwork.org/events/nyc-we-cried-power-mlk-day-sneak-preview/

Sponsored by the NYS Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival and Latino Ministry at The Riverside Church. Contact Arelis Figueroa at (646) 345-2321, [email protected] for more info!
