DESCRIPTION:Our nation is going through a moral crisis\, and we are uniting to address it by nonviolently fighting systemic racism\, poverty\, the war economy\, ecological devastation\, and the distorted moral narrative of religious nationalism. We understand that all of these injustices are interconnected and that we cannot address one without addressing them all.We are a grassroots movement led by poor and impacted people in over 40 states. The movement needs all of us!We are getting ready for the Mass Poor People’s Assembly & Moral March on Washington with the entire national campaign on June 20\, 2020.Join us for the meeting on Saturday\, March 21! We can do this by keeping\nourselves informed\, following best practices and setting a good example and so\,\nwe have decided to postpone this event.  \n\n\n\nWe hope you will stay connected\, take care of yourself\, your\nloved ones and also\, those you don’t know but who are in need. \n\n\n\n** This event is accessible ** \n\n\n\nCome join us as we gather to learn more about the campaign and launch\n a Springfield area chapter of the Illinois Poor People’s Campaign. \n\n\n\nThe Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is a \nbroad-based\, joyful\, non-violent\, mass movement for voting rights and \nvoter registration\, addressing the interlocking injustices of racism\, \npoverty\, the war economy\, environmental devastation\, and the false moral\n narrative of religious nationalism. \n\n\n\nConnect Springfield’s issues with people’s issues around the nation. \n\n\n\nRefreshments will be served. \n\n\n\nWe are all in this together.
