We are writing this CALL TO ACTION to urge you to turn out and support the Treaty People Gathering event being organized to stop Line 3 happening from June 5th - June 8th. Indigenous leaders and allies are gathering in massive numbers in northern MN to honor the treaties, protect the water, and defend the climate. We are rising together to demand Biden becomes the climate president he claims to be and finally Stop Line 3! Minnesota Poor People's Campaign is helping our partner Minnesota Interfaith Power + Light get MNPPC people to attend!
If you're at all connected to the Campaign, you probably already know that fighting the evil of Environmental Degradation is one of our pillars. If you're newer to the Campaign and want to learn more about this issue and about Line 3, the event page has informative resources. We're asking you to make a priority of attending on June 6th and June 7th, when the faith community delegations will be emphasized.
