STAND AGAINST POVERTY

MASS RALLY & MORAL REVIVAL

LIVE from the National Mall in Washington, D.C. our #40DaysOfAction culminates in a Mass Rally & March featuring our campaign co-chairs the Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis and the Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II alongside members of the #PoorPeoplesCampaign from across the country.

CALL TO ACTION: In the face of systemic racism, systemic poverty, ecological devastation, the war economy/militarism, and the distorted moral narrative of religious nationalism — we must engage in mass nonviolent moral direct action. We must declare that we won’t be silent anymore about the war on the poor!

On Saturday, June 23 the Campaign will head to the US Capitol in Washington, D.C. for a call to action Rally to Fight Poverty Not the Poor, capping off our #40DaysOfAction and launching the next phase of our movement for the long-haul. The rally will begin at 10am (ET).

RSVP that you’ll attend the rally on Facebook below to show our elected officials we will no longer allow attention violence to keep poor and disenfranchised people down! If you need transportation to the rally or if you can provide a car, use our map below.
