Poor People's Campaign

Participate in the Forward Together Song Challenge

The Forward Together Song Challenge is a chance for choirs, musicians, and all those who love to sing to help spread the word and build the movement!

Starting in January 2022, we will launch a song challenge where each month, we will feature a movement song that can be learned, sung/played, performed and recorded as a way to engage the movement through music and recruit people in your community to participate in the Mass Poor People’s & Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington.

Host a Pop Up Art Show

Artists across the Poor People’s Campaign have been creating powerful images to share the message of our movement.  This spring, we will be putting together a Pop Up Art Show Toolkit to share this artwork and use it to encourage others to join us in Washington, D.C. on June 18, 2022.

Host a Forward Together Art Build

Art builds are a great community building event and a powerful way to help spread the word that you are joining the Mass Poor People’s & Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington.

June 18, 2022 will be a mass assembly and march in Washington, D.C.  We want people to be clear about who we are – The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival – and why we’re there – to declare that we must do M.O.R.E. (Mobilize, Organize, Register, and Educate people for a movement that votes).  So grab some paint, markers, fabric, poster board, scissors…and start making your signs, flags, and banners that will help bring the message of our movement to life in Washington, D.C.!
