Poor People's Campaign
April 25 @ 10:55 pm EDT

The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival will hold a digital meeting to replace on-the-ground visits in four states because of the coronavirus threat.

The campaign has canceled MORE Tour stops (Mobilize, Organize, Register and Educate) in Arkansas, Washington, Missouri and Kansas that were scheduled in March. Instead, the campaign will hold a digital meeting at 8:30 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, March 26, titled Poverty in a Pandemic: Everybody’s Got A Right to Live.

The Poor People’s Campaign is working with the people who are poor or low-wealth to lift up their voices so that the rest of the country hears their stories. During this digital town hall, testifiers will talk about their experiences with systemic poverty and systemic racism, ecological devastation, militarism and the false moral narrative of religious nationalism.

Watch online via livestream on the Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival Facebook page.
