Poor People's Campaign
May 8 @ 10:09 pm EDT

Throughout March, we are holding mobilization meetings in 16 major cities within 8-hour drives of Washington DC to bring together local folks, including those connected to our national organizational partners, labor unions, faith bodies and denominations, student/Greek organizations, and others.

The Newark/Jersey City, NJ Mobilization Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18 at 6:30pm via Zoom. Click here to register.

We know the poor and dispossessed of this country must organize together to address systemic racism, poverty, militarism and the war economy, ecological devastation and the false moral narrative of religious nationalism. Our lives depend on it. There are over 140 million poor and low-wealth Americans, 43% of our nation and over 250,000 people a year are dying from poverty. This reality is constitutionally inconsistent, morally indefensible, and economically insane. We know that together we must RISE!

We refuse to let another election cycle go by while politicians can run for office without talking about and providing plans for how to address the issues that impact us all.

Join us via Zoom to learn more about how you can get involved!
