On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, a multi-racial, multi-faith group organized by the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival met with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and called on her and the U.S. House of Representatives to “hold the line” on the infrastructure bill in order to expand and protect voting rights, pass a federal minimum wage of $15 an hour, and end the coward’s filibuster.
