On September 22, the Poor People’s Campaign sent a letter to the White House asking President Biden for a meeting. As Congress continues to debate the Build Back Better package, the President has a unique power and responsibility to offer a moral reset for the nation. The PPC believes it is our responsibility to help do that, and we are prepared to bring a diverse delegation of poor and low-income Americans, moral leaders, and economists to put a face on the urgent needs of this moment.
