Join us on the road to the State Capitol and to the Polls!
This past Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we reflected on the necessity of ending the United States war economy if we want to succeed in abolishing racism, poverty, and ecological devastation.
Facing immense pushback, the Reverend called for a ceasefire in Vietnam. He did so because the war was devastating the poor in Vietnam, the US, and beyond. Every dollar, every ounce of human effort, that goes to dropping bombs is diverted away from providing healthcare, housing, food, and building lasting beloved communities that can steward future generations. We must fulfill King’s vision to unite the poor as a new an unsettling force – to Let America be America Again. Join us March 2nd at the Capitol to demand Justice for the Poor by Ending Money for War!
